The VKCTE has organized an Orientation Programme for the new batch of teacher trainees on 27th August 2025. The programme commenced at 10:30 AM with the chanting of Shanti Path and Aikya Mantra by Sri Sumit Kumar Baral and Sri Anirban Santra, Assistant professors, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. 

Dr. M. Neethi Perumal, Principal, warmly greeted the gathering and encouraged the students to embark on a journey of academic and personal growth.  The felicitation of guests was carried out, followed by the self-introduction of faculty members. Sri S.C. Dikshit, Education Officer, VKV, Nirjuli, gave a speech about the history of Kendra, Smt. Reena, Education Officer, VKV, Nirjuli, has also participated in this programme. Dr. Sanjeeb Barman, Assistant Professor, gave a brief description of the college. 
Sri Sumit Kumar Baral, Assistant Professor, delivered a presentation about highlighting the institution’s vision, mission, academic activities, and achievements of the students. 
Dr. Joram Begi, Trustee, VKVAPT and Chairman, Governing Body, VKCTE, in his presidential address, shared his life experiences and motivated the trainees to become ideal teachers in the minds of the students and society, and also felicitated on the qualities of VKCTE. 
Vote of Thanks was proposed by Sri. Phurpa Tsering Bappu, Assistant Professor, expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty, and students. The program then concluded with the Shanti Mantra, followed by the Kendra Prarthna by Sri Mattu Nyompu.
